In chapter 10 we have learned all about circles. We first went over circumfrance and the basic parts of the circle (radius, diameter, chord etc.). Next we learned about central angles, which start at the midpoint of the circle and continue out in an angle. The central angle is the same as the arc it is across from. The inscribed angle meets at the circle, the angle is half the arc it is across from. We learned about about tangents or lines perpendicular to the circles diameter. The tangent meets the circle at 90 degree angle, to verify the line is tangent you can draw a triangle and use the pythagorean thereom. We learned today about secants that can cross in a circle, connect with a tangent inside and out of the circle, or can make an angle outside the circle. You can use the thereoms 10.12, 10.13, or 10.14 to find the missing angles.
Architects could use these concepts in their careers to help them build different structures.
At the moment I do not have any questions on chapter 10.
You're too smart for your own good!!!!!:)
